THE HEIGHTS

The spacious rooms at The Heights are really more like mini-suites. Each has its own conversation area, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities, TV and DVD player.

The beds are huge kings, although a twin king single configuration is available in Te Moana, if you desire. Each mini-suite has its own private entrance plus a deck or terrace to allow you to enjoy New Zealand’s outdoor lifestyle and the spectacular views.

TOTARA VALLEY BARNS

Accommodation consists of a skillfully converted barn with two unique queen size rooms. Each room is tastefully decorated with quality linen tea/coffee facilities and TV. Tiled en-suites have toiletries and a hair dryer.

Ideally situated as a base from which to explore the Coromandel, we offer accommodation in either the Lodge or a country cottage, both situated in the grounds of Rapaura.

The Lodge offers two bedrooms with queen-sized beds (one ensuite), a large living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast room, pantry and numerous decks.

The Garden Cottage has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, bathroom, open plan kitchen/dining area, a lounge and an outside patio.

The Junction Hotel has 15 rooms with a mix of backpacker dorm rooms, single, twin, double and triple rooms. There are bed-only or rooms with ensuite available. There is a guest lounge downstairs.

The Public Bar (The Local) has just been fully refurbished. It has an 18 machine gaming room, Sky TV, pool table and jukebox, plus the friendliest bunch of locals to have a quiet one with.

There are facilities to accommodate private functions and large parties.

Our Pacific Room upstairs offers one of the best views of Opito Bay and the Mercury Islands, ensuite, a queen-size bed and a private balcony.

Our larger Seahorse Suite (suitable for two couples) is available either as B&B or as a self contained unit. It has its own private entrance and offers a cosy kitchen/lounge, a bedroom with a double bed and a sofa-bed in the lounge. The unit has a bathroom with a shower and separate toilet.

• Upstairs - one large room has queen and single bed and ensuite.
• Downstairs - one single room plus double (queen) room with ensuite.

Both units have tea/coffee facilities.
